MEET OUR HALE STUDIO INSTRUCTORS
ABOUT ASHLEY BAUER
Ashley’s dance training began at Inland Pacific Ballet where she had the opportunity to perform in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle and Coppelia. During her time in college she was able to study many other genres of dance and be featured in annual dance concerts. She also spent two summers training at American Ballet Theatre in New York City as well as a summer training with the Jose Limon Dance Company. When she was 17 years old Ashley started a thirteen year career with the Walt Disney Company in Anaheim. She spent her time in Entertainment doing shows, characters and being featured in the 50th anniversary parade, Parade of Dreams.
She has been teaching for sixteen years at dance studios all over Southern California and in Arizona in all styles and genres of dance. Ashley has choreographed routines for regional and national competitions which have placed in the top 10 at Move, Spotlight and Showstoppers. She received an award for “Outstanding Choreography” at Spotlight Dance Cup in 2015. In addition to teaching and performing, Ashley choreographs musical theater locally and has choreographed such shows as: All Shook Up (MCC), Young Frankenstein (MCC), Bye Bye Birdie (MVHS), Seussical (HAQC), Shrek (MCC), Beauty and the Beast (HAQC) and Mamma Mia (MCC). Ashley absolutely loves teaching and is excited to share her passion for the arts with those students at the Hale Studio.

ABOUT ABBI CAVANAUGH
Abbi is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and began dance training at age three. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance from Grand Canyon University. In college, she served as the President of GCU’s Student Dance Education Organization and was a member of the National Dance Education Organization. Her class studies include jazz, tap, ballet, modern, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary. She is an alumnus of the Gus Giordano College/Pro Intensive in Chicago, Illinois, studying Giordano Technique under master instructors. Since moving to Arizona, Abbi has had the honor and pleasure of performing with Hale Centre Theatre, the Phoenix Theatre Company, and Silver Star Theater. Recent credits include: Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain, Lucy Grant in Bright Star, Jet Girl in West Side Story (PT), Mush in Newsies, and Ensemble in Hello, Dolly!. Along with performing, she also teaches dance to ages 5 to 85 at various dance studios across the Valley. Her classroom is focused on positive, encouraging energy with determination for individual growth. Abbi treasures her opportunity to help others reach their goals and dreams as dancers and individuals. She is very excited to be a part of the Hale Studio! ABOUT CAMBRIAN JAMES
Cambrian is well-known for his versatile staging throughout the Valley and nationally. He is a multi-award winning director and choreographer for Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, Footloose, Damn Yankees and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, just to name a few. Cambrian has enjoyed a long career as an actor and dancer in Annie (Daddy Warbucks), Crazy For You (Bobby Child), The King and I (the King) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad).
ABOUT SHAE TAYLOR
Shae Taylor has an extensive background in both social and competitive ballroom dance. She started her intensive training at Brigham Young University where she received her degree in ballroom dance. She danced as a member of the globally renowned Ballroom Touring Company, competed nationally and internationally, completed all levels of her International and American style medal’s exams with High Honors and taught both American style and Country Ballroom dance classes for four semesters. After receiving her degree Shae has had the honor to train hundreds of students in both social and competitive ballroom. She founded ballroom programs in Idaho, Washington, and Arizona. Students that have trained with Shae have earned full ride university scholarships for ballroom, held amateur and professional national titles, and some are currently the top professionals in the ballroom dance industry including current National and World Title holders.For the past 13 years Shae has been teaching students in the East Valley. She is excited to bring her experience and expertise to Hale Theater. Shae recognizes the unique opportunity ballroom dancing presents for couples to learn positive values and skills. The dynamic relationship dance partners share in class helps them learn and practice respect, cooperation, consideration and communication. These social skills will benefit students in all their relationships both personal and professional. Shae considers these skills to be the core of the training she provides. She works hard to provide a safe and fun environment where her students can strive for excellence.
